Docket Terms
 

1. This consignment note is a non negotiable document

2. Goods will be sent at owners risk and packing of the goods will be the     responsibility of consignor. Carrier is carrying the goods on said to contain basis.

3. The carrier will not be responsible for consequences on account of any incorrect , false declaration or commitment on the part of consignor or his representative

4. Contraband goods like LPG, Explosive , Liquor , Spirit , Acids , Inflammable goods , Hazardous chemicals and any other material notified by the Government will not be accepted for transportation . perishable goods, Cash/ Currency Notes jewellary , Air / Railway Tickets, Legal documents, Two Wheeler with Petrol , goods without documents and goods above 5 lacs without insurance are also not accepted for Transportation. If at all booked without carrier’s knowledge it will be the risk of Consignor . The carrier will not take any responsibility and if any dispute, matter or case arises, in such event owner , consignor or consignee would be responsible for the costs and consequences thereof

5. It will be the responsibility of the consignor or consignee to pay the penalties in case any objectionable / Contraband goods are found in the packages on check up by octroi, excise , sles tax or any government agency

6. Consignee or the receiver of the goods will be liable to pay the octroi duty if paid by Prasanna on behalf of customer 5% of octroi amount will be charged as service charges and if customer pays an advance Prasanna for octroi clearance , then 2% of octroi amount will be charged as service charges will have to pay at the time of delivery

7. The carrier for safe transportation shall take every care , however in case of parcels lost / damages in transit the carrier will be liable to the extent of freight charges or Rs. 1000/- whichever is less

8. No claim for damage – breakage will be entertained if the goods are not collected within 15 days from the date of arrival at destination

9. Consignee should take ‘’open delivery’’ of consignment if the consignment is found to be damaged outwardly or in case of any doubt. The consignee must inspect the goods in presence of carrier and should write remarks on the pod while taking the delivery . Carrier will not entertain any complaint later   

10. Carrier can not insure the goods. The consignor or consignee must take insurance cover for their goods at their own cost before booking. It is mandatory on the part of the consignor or consignee to issue a statutory notice to the carrier before initiating any legal action for recovery of costs of good

11. Delivery of the goods should be taken within 7 ( seven ) days from the date of arrival . failing which storage charges will be levied @ Rs. 10/- per day / per package or @ Rs. 1/- per day / per kg whichever is higher

12. Goods not claimed within 60 days from the date of arrival will be disposed off and no claim will be entertained

13. The carrier will not be responsible for delay / damage due to unforeseen external causes such as natural calamities, civil unrest and disturbances on road if any

14. Consignee or his representative must produce their letter of authority or acknowledgement with rubber stamp or should produce self – identification while taking the delivery of goods every time

15. Two wheelers and house hold goods should be crate packed by the consignor otherwise carrier will not compensate for any transit damages. It Is obligatory for consignor to take transit insurance policy before booking

16. Consignor has to intimate consignee regarding the dispatch of the consignment

17. Any disputes and or complaints will be entertained by local jurisdiction of Pune only .
